Description
The kidney shows gross hydronephrosis presumably due to obstruction of the ureter by tuberculosis.
The dilated calyces contain flecks of caseious material and one small almost solid area of caseous
material can be seen in the upper part of the specimen. There is obviously little surviving renal tissue.
